Get to know Sound Goods.

I’ve been a maker for as long as I can remember. The son of a luthier, I grew up in a home where wood shavings and the smell of sawdust were part of everyday life. My dad’s shop was my first classroom, and building furniture became a natural extension of that early curiosity—an outlet where design, problem-solving, and a sense of purpose all come together.

I focus on custom commissions built one at a time in my Seattle shop. My work blends clean, modern lines with warm, timeless materials, drawing inspiration from mid-century, Scandinavian, and Pacific Northwest design influences. I aim for pieces that feel quiet but confident—functional objects with presence, clarity, and a clear point of view.

Every build begins with understanding how a piece will live in its space and how it will be used. From there, I prioritize durable joinery, thoughtful material choices, and a level of refinement that rewards close attention. I believe that well-made furniture should last a lifetime, and that longevity is one of the simplest, truest forms of sustainable design.
